About the Project

The Metadata-as-Code tool is designed for visual schema designing of data storages and exchanges. Its key features include reverse-engineering a database/schema into a visual model, analyzing and preparing human-readable documentation, making adjustments, and forward engineering. Additionally, the tool helps with migration from database to database schemas using universal Polyglot modeling. It supports many databases and schemas, such as MongoDB, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Avro, Hive, and more. The application aims to serve the needs of analysts, solution designers, architects, developers, and database administrators.

Our engineers were responsible for the entire development of the application, based on the specifications provided by IntegrIT SA/NV.

TECH STACK: Node.js/Electron, React/Redux, SCSS

Talent You’ll Bring into Our Team:

  • Several years of experience with Node.js and React
  • Understanding the principles of OOP, SOLID and the ability to apply them in practice
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English
  • Being a reliable team member, who gets things done and is a quick learner

Responsibilities:

  • Development of new features
  • Integrating new databases or data/API schemas
  • Maintenance of existing code base by the guidance of experienced developers

It would be nice if you have:

  • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • Experience with any databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Cassandra, Apache Hive) or schema formats (JSON Schema, OpenAPI/Swagger, Avro, Parquet, Protobuf)
  • Experience with writing tests: Testcafe, Cypress, mocha
